Glimicron MR 30mg

It is a modified release tablet of gliclazide, a second generation sulfonylurea drug that has hypoglycaemic and potentially useful haemobiological properties. It stimulates the release of insulin from pancreatic beta-cells by facilitating Ca+2 transport across the beta-cell membranes and decreases hepatic glucose output.
